Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center (ZOC), Sun Yat-sen University is the largest eye center in China, and is recognized for its advanced achievements in quality clinical care and ophthalmic research. The lab of Professor Xuri Li is affiliated to ZOC, as well as the State Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology (SKLO), which was granted by the Ministry of Science and Technology in China. Our lab is mainly focusing on angiogenesis and ocular neo-vascular diseases, including the neural and vascular effects of VEGFs/PDGFs, interaction between vascular and neural systems, and stem cells regulation in ocular diseases. We now have around 30 researchers and lab technicians, and published paper in Science, Nature, Cell Metabolism, Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, Annals of Oncology, etc. in recent five years.

 

Job description

You are responsible for:

Cellular, Molecular, Protein related experiments, as well as in vivo assays, particularly in the mice. Need to perform both experiments and data analysis.


Profile

(l) Bachelor or Master degree in cellular and molecular biology / biochemistry / ophthalmology / ocular neurovascular science or any related field.

(2) Has skills in molecular, cellular biology assays, cell culture and mice handling

(2) Has interest and is motivated to do research, willing to work hard, literature reading and communicate with other people.

(3) People with publication record and/or good written and spoken English is preferred


We offer

Salary is ~ 120,000 RMB /Year, and Insurance and Housing Fund would be covered according to the policy.
